Kaiyuh Information Technologies, LLC is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to join our team. This position will support a military organization tasked to develop highly technical training and simulation capabilities for service members. This position will, in conjunction with government support services, perform IT Hardware and software support, problem identification and resolution, data preparation, and storage and delivery. Support includes application upgrades, use of administrator rights and specialty engineering; risk identification and mitigation, testing and evaluation; data management; and configuration management activities. This position will perform IT software testing and integration activities including updating, configuring, maintaining, and programing existing software and/or computer network databases. The Computer Systems Analyst reports to the Program Manager(s).

Location: Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, TX

Primary Duties include:

  • Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow
  • Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.
  • Review and analyze computer printouts and performance indicators to locate code problems, and correct errors by correcting codes.
  • Confer with client regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address. Read manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn how to develop programs that meet staff and user requirements. Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared.
  • Determine computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter system

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Applications, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Two to five (2-5) years of experience in position or similar role
  • Secret clearance (minimum Tier 1) strongly preferred; must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screening
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project and a web collaboration tool such as Google Docs
  • Familiarity with the Government acquisition life cycle, program documentation, and interface with Government and military leadership preferred

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in server administrator support; installing, configuring, securing, maintaining and/or recovering server-based operating systems; determining hardware requirements for existing and future systems including, but not limited to, servers, workstations, printers, scanners and associated peripherals; configuring and securing file shares.
  • Experience with MS Operating Systems, Unix and Linux Operating Systems, MS Access database development, and MS SQL.
  • Experience supporting military customers
  • Experience with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs)

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:  The Computer Systems Analyst will work as part of a joint government and civilian team to develop high technical training and simulation capabilities for military personnel. The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing and office setting on Joint Base San Antonio Randolph. The Computer Systems Analyst interfaces and collaborates with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities.
